6.3 The total price payable, including the product price and applicable flat-rate shipping fee, will be displayed before checkout.
6.4 Unless otherwise stated, prices exclude shipping fees.
6.5 Wild Muse is not currently registered for VAT and does not charge VAT.
7. Orders and Acceptance
7.1 Once you place an order, you may receive an order confirmation email. This confirms that we have received your order, but it does not necessarily mean the order has been accepted.
7.2 We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit an order where necessary, including where products are unavailable, payment has not been received, pricing errors occur, or fraud is suspected.
7.3 If we cancel an order after payment has been made, we will refund you using the original payment method, where possible.
7.4 Before completing payment, you will have an opportunity to review your order details, including products, quantities, pricing, shipping fees, and delivery information.
8. Payment
8.1 We currently accept payment through PayFast.
8.2 Payments are processed securely through our third-party payment provider. We do not store your full card or banking details on our website.
8.3 By making payment, you also agree to the applicable terms and conditions of the third-party payment provider.
8.4 Orders will only be processed once payment has been successfully received.
9. Shipping and Delivery
9.1 We currently deliver within South Africa only.
9.2 A standard flat-rate shipping fee applies to all purchases, unless otherwise stated.
9.3 Estimated delivery times may vary depending on your delivery address, courier availability, public holidays, and stock availability.
9.4 We aim to process and dispatch orders as promptly as possible. Unless otherwise agreed, we will take reasonable steps to fulfil orders within the timeframe required by South African ecommerce law.
9.5 If a product becomes unavailable after you have placed an order, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible and offer a refund, replacement, or alternative arrangement.
9.6 You are responsible for ensuring that your delivery address and contact details are correct. Wild Muse will not be responsible for failed delivery caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by you.
9.7 Once an order has been handed to the courier, delivery may be affected by courier delays outside our reasonable control. However, we will assist where reasonably possible in following up with the courier.
10. Returns, Exchanges and Refunds
10.1 Cooling-Off Returns for Online Purchases
For eligible online purchases, you may cancel your order and return the goods within 7 days of receiving them, provided that:
- the item is unused;
- the item is in its original condition;
- the item is returned with its original packaging where reasonably possible;
- you notify us in writing at [email protected] within the 7-day period.
You may be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods unless the item is defective, damaged, incorrect, or supplied in error.
10.2 Change-of-Mind Returns
Where an item is not defective but you wish to return it, we may accept the return if it complies with the conditions above.
Returned goods must be suitable for resale. We reserve the right to refuse a return if the item has been used, damaged, altered, or is not returned in a reasonable condition.
10.3 Defective, Damaged or Incorrect Goods
If your item is defective, damaged, unsafe, or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible at [email protected] with your order details and photographs where applicable.
Your rights in respect of defective goods are protected under the Consumer Protection Act. Where goods are defective within the applicable statutory period, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the circumstances.
10.4 Non-Returnable Items
At this stage, we do not have specific non-returnable items listed.
However, certain items may be marked as non-returnable in future, such as:

- hygiene-sensitive products;
